The photo-surrealism of Jacquelene Vanek is quite stunning.

I was blown away with the compositions the artist has constructed in these fabulous images.
Black birds play a role in both images you will see in the gallery, as does the ambiguous figure.

The scenery is also chosen for drama, particular in the semi nude work showing the back of woman
(above) with amazing long black hair which marries beautifully with the Ravens feathers.

I was also taken with the artistry of her conceptualism and visual representation of those ideas.
I am excited to see more of the artists work and look forward to writing about her in a review for
painters Tubes magazine (perhaps sooner than later?)
