STAGE 9 STOP TO CONSIDER
All senses melt into one moment, one precious memory – Eternal, watercolor, 48 x 38 cm (19 x 15") I remove the final bits of mask, soften
edges, adjust colours and tones, and when I think the painting is finished, I put it aside for a few days. Having distanced myself from the
work I can look at it again and notice little things that still need attention and adjustment.
In framing the final painting, the viewable image is cropped to achieve better balance and focus on the eye as centre of interest.
