Catherine is a painter who creates work that under most *normal times’
I wouldn’t have dedicated much time looking at it as a personal choice,
only because of the genré it follows, not because of the quality of the

work.
However, lets face it, these are not *normal times, far from it in fact.
The paintings that the artist creates are highly skilful and Catherine is an

obvious talent, The lock down made most of us into victims. And for the
artist this imposed isolation was felt hard. It was her feelings about her
parents, deprived from seeing her children that propelled her painting
them, which in some way would fill in that special missing space that
would be otherwise lost forever.

Lets hope to God that that the universal inoculation does its job for
everyones sake and for everyones sanity. The positive outcome is that
Catherine has created some truly beautiful paintings of her children,

images that I’m sure many will be able to appreciate and enjoy.
