Kirsty Wain’s paintings are the results of moments of inspiration that are unplanned and cannot be forced or controlled. Wain may see a
beautiful coloured leaf or a scene that captures her imagination and serves as a trigger for paintings. She is inspired by nature’s colours,
patterns and textures. The themes of her paintings change over time, though mostly deeper spiritual references can be found within
the imagery.
Having spent almost ten years working as an abstract painter, it was her relocation to Malvern that sparked an interest in painting Landscapes,
often painting walks and pathways rather than the traditional hill views. Recently the seasons have become more prevalent in her work.
KIRSTY WAIN has exhibited in a number of exhibitions including; Parallax Art Fair, Chelsea, London, UK (2012), Landscapes, Malvern Library (Solo Exhibition) Escape
