Koesterich

Abby Koesterich is an interdisciplinary artist based in Boston, MA. She received her BA in Graphic Design and
Photography from Marist College in 2024. Her work utilizes digital and physical mediums, often using digital
programs to enhance and inspire her physical work. She enjoys the challenge of integrating her background in
technology within all aspects of her practice. Her goal is often to understand the process first, and let that
understanding influence the product.

‘’Moving from the East Coast to the Midwest, I was completely alone for the first time in my life. Being thousands of miles away from anything familiar, it was
essential for me to find peace. I spent a lot of time reflecting—mostly on the people who shaped me, the places I’ve been, and the art I’ve created or admired
—and found great comfort in these memories. They brought me the familiarity I craved and guided me through my isolation. I came to understand that
honoring my past and remembering what brought me to this point is what gives me the strength to move forward.’’
