Rea Silvia Emmanouil
Rea Silvia Emmanouil is a Greek interdisciplinary artist, currently based in Chicago while studying at the School
of the Art Institute of Chicago. Rea Silvia works with metal, fiber, and casting techniques to create large-scale
pieces of art. Her background in painting and digital work gives her a unique perspective and allows her to
infuse her sculptures with a sense of depth and complexity. The themes of nature and femininity are prevalent
throughout her work, with a focus on exploring the ways in which these two concepts intersect and interact
with one another. Her pieces are often characterized by a sense of fluidity and movement, with an emphasis
on the organic shapes and textures found in the natural world.
