Abesadze

Davit Abesadze is a notable figure from the generation of artists emerging in the 1990s. He is an intriguing and
impressive artist whose work is characterized by expressiveness and a distinctive vision of the world. As it
seems, the life of a painter itself is involved in creating an interesting environment for his work – The family took
care of the hearing-impaired artist from birth. Following the death of his parents, Abesadze led a reclusive life,
with minimal involvement in the art world. Davit Abesadze’s solo retrospective exhibition at the Dimitri
Shevardnadze National Gallery is being held for the first time.
